Before moving to the United States in 2015, I lived in Ireland, Norway and the Czech Republic, traveled to more than 35 countries, studied in Turkey for a year and hitchhiked 15,000 miles around the Middle East.
I bought my first DSLR camera in 2009 before my year-long studying program in Turkey. I thought it'd be a great idea to capture my travel memories, but what started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion.
In 2011, I began shooting on film, which remains my favorite medium, although I shoot mostly digital these days. First and foremost, I enjoy portrait and urban photography, but have done everything from landscape to culinary photo shoots.
For more than 5 years I have been working with CzechTourism, the destination marketing agency of the Czech Republic, on digital and social media campaigns, content creation, and web and mobile apps development. I am currently responsible for marketing the Czech Republic as a holiday and business tourism destination in the United States and Canada.
On a personal note, I love giving personal recommendations on indie films, specialty coffee and sparsely visited urban and natural wonders. My weakness is spending all of my savings on traveling, camera, coffee brewing and biking gear, and Japanese ramen. The end of confession.
